Does JetBackup 5 cost extra?
Absolutely not! We include JetBackup 5 with every hosting plan, including our Economy hosting! It's an added benefit for all our customers.
Do the automatic backups count against my storage limits?
No. Nightly automatic backups are off-site. The occur every night at 12:00am eastern time. Your backups are available for you to restore with cPanel.
How many backups do you keep?
We keep 30 days of backups. After that, the oldest backup is purged.
Can I create my own backups?
Yes! In fact, we encourage you to download frequent backups on your own. This can be done within cPanel and clicking on "Backup." However, please keep in mind that manual backups do count against your storage limits. After you have downloaded your backup, it's a good idea to delete the backup from your cPanel account. What is your backup policy?
You are responsible for your backups and web content. It is recommended that you keep copies of your content safe and make your own backups. You can perform a backup from cPanel or use a remote backup solution.
